I LOST ALL 16 of my first matches!

Most of my matches weren’t even close.
I felt completely humbled and totally humiliated.
All my hard work in the gym seemed like it was for nothing!
The long drives back home were depressing as I played back all of the losses in my mind.
Losing in arm wrestling can be a horrible feeling.
You try as hard as you possibly can…giving everything you have in your body to win…using every fiber of every muscle that you have…only to be totally dominated anyway…and lose in front of everyone…as your arm comes crashing down to the pin pad with a resounding ‘thump’.
I couldn’t believe what was happening.
I thought I was strong!
I thought I was in great shape!
I WAS DEAD WRONG…AND I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.
I was in great shape…for a “normal” person.
But I WAS NOT in great shape compared to the other guys in my sport.
I can admit it now…like many of us…I was doing just enough exercise and working out just hard enough to keep my body looking good…but not more.
I was much more concerned with the look of my body…then with the performance of my body.
That was the whole problem.
Building strength for looks instead of performance was stopping me from getting maximum results in the gym!
Compared to the other pro athletes I was competing with…I was NOWHERE NEAR as strong as they were.
I was NOWHERE NEAR as strong as I thought I was.
I had a false sense of security that had never been tested.
And now I was in a dilemma.
My old routine was ‘ok’ if I wanted to keep my same old results…but NOT if I really wanted to get stronger.
To compete in pro sports I NEEDED to get stronger right now and my “perfect workout routine” was NO GOOD AT ALL.
Something had to change immediately.
I learned really quickly there’s a big difference between exercising to be in “great shape” and exercising to win a professional athletic event.
A HUGE DIFFERENCE!
When I was training my body for performance I was able to work a LOT HARDER in the gym.
And all the hard work translated into one word = RESULTS.
I had way more intensity.
I had much deeper motivation.
I didn’t want to lose my matches!
I didn’t want to be embarrassed at my competitions!
I wanted to be a tournament champion!
My outlook on my workouts totally changed.
My thought process during my exercises totally changed.

Before…like most people…perhaps you…when I used to do a bicep curl I was mostly concerned about creating just enough strength so that my biceps were looking good.
Now when I was curling I was concerned with my biceps being STRONGER than my opponents.

My focus completely changed.
Now my only priority was building REAL STRENGTH on every exercise without wasting any time.
And the results I got were mind blowing!
All of a sudden instead of ’being happy’ with my 20 pull ups…I was trying to do 50.
Before long…20 pull ups was just a warm up for me.
Instead of being happy with my bench press I was trying to DOUBLE IT.
Instead of being happy with my dumbbell curl I was trying to TRIPLE IT.
My reps suddenly increased on every exercise because there was ALWAYS one more rep.
I was so into my progress that I was getting extra reps on shear will power alone!
And the results I saw in my body were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.
The only issue was TIME.
I had competitions scheduled and coming up fast!
I needed to get results immediately.
I needed to DOUBLE my results…in the same amount of time.
Plus…I didn’t have ANY extra time to do this!
Between work and family I was just as busy as before!

While in college he was the personal trainer to the Governor of Utah and his staff.
He spent 7 years in physical therapy working with all manner of injuries and specializing in balance problems, posture problems and exercise for medical conditions like diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease.
Tim has been a speaker and seminar leader for 12 years. His signature seminar - The Falling Solution: How to Fall Down in Any Direction WITHOUT Getting Hurt…and How to Get Back Up Anytime…Anywhere! - has been seen by thousands of people to rave reviews all over the country.
He is also a professional arm wrestler and has competed in some of the biggest arm wrestling tournaments in the country, and against some of the best arm wrestlers in the world.
